Absolutely, Phenomenal Food for Outdoor Wedding!

I attended a wedding where Jill catered the outdoor reception. The food was terrific. It was well presented and plentiful, and the choices were more distinctive than the standard catering fare. Two items, in particular, really stood out though. Jill's Thyme Roasted Carrots were simple and out of this world. And, she prepared a Scottish chicken recipe that used a cream sauce made with Drambuie. I could have eaten that sauce like soup! Absolutely phenomenal. If you are catering any affair or just eating-in, I highly recommend Jill's Kitchen.

Welcoming Wedding Leftovers

Thank you for all for your help and outstanding food last weekend. Everything was incredibly delicious, if you are ever willing to part with Moroccan Chicken or Eggplant, Chickpea, & Tomato Salad recipes, I'd love to make them! Martha and Inez couldn't have been more helpful, classy and professional. There was very little food left over, as our guests kept piling up their plates again and again, but what was left, Martha and Inez very thoughtfully wrapped up and put away for us. One of the highlights of the weekend was David and I crawling back to our house on Sunday and having the left-overs from Friday's event waiting for us in the fridge. In addition, the chocolate cake was by far the best I've ever tasted! I am so so glad I had an opportunity to finally get to work with you and can't wait to again for future gatherings. Please pass our thanks on to your staff.

Fabulous 4th of July Birthday Bash

Dear Jill, I am writing to thank you and your staff for helping make my husband's 60th birthday party on July 4th a remarkable event. Everything aspect was beautifully presented. Not only was the menu terrific, but the way you used the space was exceptional. You created this cozy space, on a huge lawn, for appetizers--enabling people to gather and spread out. The chicken satay with peanut sauce, mini spanakopita, fruit kabobs and crudite along with drinks was the perfect combination for a steamy summer's day. Then we all flowed up the stairs to the deck, with a great river view, for a sit down dinner buffet! It was the perfect space and transition to a fine dinner and Toast and Roast of our birthday boy. Your wise counsel on building a menu for our crowd and our budget, was right on target. The fish kabob, london broil, rice pilaf,citrus salad, roasted corn salad and raspberry carrots was delicious. And, the decadent chocolate birthday cake and chocolate covered strawberries put the finishing touches on a remarkable evening. Jill's Kitchen is the best!

Eager for Eather Gathering

JILL'S KITCHEN ROCKS!!!!!. Our Easter family gathering was a complete success thanks to Jill. The Chicken Marsala over Penne, and the Cider Glazed Fresh Ham with all the fixings were so tender and succulent that everything just melted in your mouth. Then came dessert!. The Decadent Chocolate Cake, the Carrot Cake with Cream cheese Frosting and the Delmonico Cheese Pie were to die for. I'm salivating as I type just thinking about them. The family (15 members at this gathering) just raved about the food. We will definitely be using Jill's Kitchen again in the future and we recommend it to everyone !!!. The BEST Chocolate Cake

Jill, that was the BEST chocolate cake I have ever had the pleasure of eating!! Everyone loved it. Mom said it was the best she's ever had, that's got to be pretty good for 74 years worth of eating!! Monica commented that the icing was like the center of a chocolate truffle... Wow, just wonderful!!! Please don't ever give me the recipe, I would be too tempted to make it and that would NOT be good for my weight loss plan!

First Thanksgiving in New Home with 34 Guests

Desperately needing assistance for our first Thanksgiving in our new home with 34 guests, I contacted Jill's Kitchen. After explaining our situation, Jill agreed to spend a good portion of her Thanksgiving Day with our family. She and her co-worker arrived promptly and after just spending a few instructive minutes with me, went right to work. Both were dressed professionally in black and white with embroidered, purple aprons. Jill prepared her Baked Artichoke Dip and home-made Spanikopita triangles for us as hot appetizers. Both appetizers were absolutely delicious and my husband and I were grateful that there were plenty of left-overs for our own personal snacking enjoyment. Jill and her co-worker, Cindy, did all of the rewarming of the food, served the soup, portioned the other dishes family-style, cleared all of the dishes with appropriate timing and then, washed and dried all of the dinner dishes and served desserts with coffee/tea.

They would not leave until the last dish was washed and dried. They also set out our left-overs on our kitchen table in their original serving tins with serving spoons and "to-go" tins for our guests to take home "doggie bags" if they wanted to. We were/are so grateful to Jill and Cindy for allowing us to actually enjoy our family and friends. Their politeness and professionalism that was ever present, as their physical presence was barely noticeable as they briskly served and cleared. I would recommend them instantly and would gladly further my comments if anyone wishes to contact me.

Birthday Surprise!

Besides the look of absolute surprise on my husband's face at his surprise 60th birthday party, the best part was the fabulous food prepared by Jill's Kitchen!! As guests left the party, nearly everyone commented, "great food!" The two dishes that seemed to be favorites at the party were the apricot bourbon chicken and the eggplant rollatini.
