Narrowsburg, NY — Jill
Padua, noted area caterer, chef, former restaurateur and proprietor
of “Jill’s Kitchen,” broke ground recently on a new commercial
kitchen at her home in Narrowsburg, NY. Padua is scheduled
to commence operation of her catering/take-out food business
in early to mid-September with an already well-established
clientele. Jill Padua learned to cook as a teenager and throughout
her career has worked in all areas of the food service business
in different parts of the country. She is the former owner
of The Chatterbox Café in Narrowsburg, a restaurant with an
eclectic, varied menu, and has also worked extensively with
Marcia Dunsmore, now a partner at Settler’s Inn in Hawley,
PA.
One of Jill’s satisfied customers is Beverly
Sterner from Milanville, PA, who writes, “It is rare to find
in one person both natural talent and the ability to make it
work. Jill has both; love and joy in preparing not only delicious
food in a warm, friendly and efficient atmosphere, but the
administrative and managerial ability to grow and sustain a
successful business.” Some of Jill’s upcoming menu items will
include Roasted Vegetable Lasagna, Lemon Pistachio Chicken,
Roasted Corn with Tomatoes and Basil, Asian Asparagus with
Mandarin Oranges, countless other entrees and appetizers, and
an array of homemade desserts and soups. Of course, all food
is cooked to order, with a nod toward lively presentation and
good health.
